Meteorological Technology International will host an exclusive webinar, in association with Baron Weather, on May 1, 2025, titled ‘State-of-the-art weather visualization and communication in the modern world.’
Weather communication challenges
The expert speakers will delve into audiences’ changing expectations, as traditional text alerts and simplistic diagrams compete for attention against visually appealing, dynamic messages from entertainment and leisure. They’ll also look into how capturing and holding your audience’s attention requires more engaging and impactful messaging in today’s fast-paced communication landscape.
The webinar will explore the difficulty of translating complex data into clear, actionable messages. It will also address the struggle to prompt the correct action in weather situations, and the limitations of low-tech messaging, which, while easier to explain, can appear less professional and fail to compete effectively with more visually compelling content.
Additionally, attendees will learn how the advanced weather communication platform Baron Weather Lynx uses real-time, visually stunning graphics to help tell impactful weather stories quickly and effectively. Designed to reach modern audiences, Baron Weather Lynx integrates with popular social channels and supports third-party platforms like OBS for live presentations.
