MicroStep-MIS, based in St. Petersburg, will soon open the Forecasting Center, the aim of which will be the generation of specialized weather forecasts.
Forecasts will be produced using global numerical weather forecasting and WRF models as well as satellite imaginary.
The center will be headed by Alla Shumikhina, a meteorologist with 13 years of experience in the field of hydrometeorological services.
