Earlier this year, stratospheric balloon technology company Involve Space completed its first US pilot launch at Ellington Airport (EFD) in collaboration with the Houston Spaceport and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

According to the partners, this milestone marks more than just a technical achievement, it symbolizes a new era of collaboration, innovation and exploration.

The Houston Spaceport, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, stated it “takes pride in supporting the pioneers of space research”.
