Central European location attracting more new exhibitors than ever More exhibitors taking bigger booths with more on display than in the shows history Co-timing with WMOs Congress to provide new wave of board-level attendees Existing visitor community of private- and public-sector meteorologists and service providers excited to attend the biggest-ever show! The meteorological and hydrometeorological industry has welcomed news that Meteorological Technology World Expo will be heading to Geneva, Switzerland, from June 5-7, 2019. Meteorological Technology World Expo is already firmly established as the worlds largest meteorological exhibition and conference dedicated to showcasing and discussing the latest and next-generation climate measurement and forecasting technologies and services. And in 2019 the event will host an additional new wave of visitors thanks to the expo being timed to take place while the WMOs Congress is in progress. The WMOs Congress attracts the most senior public-sector, national weather service executives, said Graham Johnson, founder and managing director of Meteorological Technology World Expo. This community of board-level met-office decision makers will be a welcome addition to the traditional World Expo visitors. Over 80% of our attendees come from outside of national met services and research institutes. Combine our traditional national weather service providers who attend every year, and you can see why Im delighted that we could arrange the timing of our 2019 show to coincide with the Congress! Were going to provide our exhibitors with more visitors than ever before! Johnson continued, The WMO is equally happy that we have managed to co-time our World Expo so we can host their Congress delegates. Dedicated buses will be provided throughout every day of the exhibition to enable all 900+ Congress delegates to visit the World Expo. The Congress delegates will dine within the show every lunchtime, and attend special collaborative networking events at the show. Furthermore, the World Expo will host WMO Congress panel discussions and Congress conference sessions on the exhibition floor. Our biggest problem has been working out how we are going to be able to host all of the WMOs delegates every day alongside the traditional World Expo visitors. We know were going to attract more private- and public-sector attendees than ever, simply because Meteorological Technology World Expo 2019 will have more for them to see and discover than ever before, explained Johnson. But weve recently managed to secure more space at the exhibition venue, meaning we can now comfortably accommodate all the Congress delegates alongside our traditional exhibition attendees. The World Expo will present more than 200 exhibits as well as a conference that is being put together by the team behind Meteorological Technology International magazine. Entrance to both the exhibition and the conference which is located within the exhibition is free. Visitors can register for their free entry code here.
